Still alive...

Hey Team, Sorry about not posted for the last week or so, I did finish my Nurgle Wirewolf Titan and I’m very happy with it but before I could take any pictures my digital camera broke. I’m also working on some OOP Genestealer hybrid cultists. I should have my new camera by this weekend and I will post some pictures… - Cheers!

WireWolf Titan Primed

Wirewolf

A wirewolf is a monstrous Chaos machine in the service of Magister Anakwanar Sek's forces. They are powered by a trapped daemonic entity, in the same fashion as a Defiler, but can take a variety of shapes and forms, depending on their makers (ranging from knights in full armour to actual hounds).

When inactive, Wirewolves hang from specially fashioned "gibbets", where arcane practices had made the space thin so that the Immaterium could finger its way through the aether when the correct commands came. They could be summoned by wandering "glyfs" (sentient Chaos runes) at the slightest hint of disturbances from the enslaved population. Once awoken, they were known to be quite uncontrollable, often attacking friends and foes alike.

The downside to the usage of Wirewolves is that they expend their energy quickly, and must periodically return to their "gibbets" to recharge. But when they were fully awoken, there was little that could stand before their assault.

When damaged enough or destroyed, the Wirewolves' ruptured metal carcasses are torn open, unleashing the contained energy in a ferocious explosion that could potentially kill anyone within its blast radius.

More armor plates added and doing some details.

I'm adding some leather armor, left over from my S.C.A. days.

WireWolf Nurgle Titan WIP

Hey Team,

I need your opinion, I'm scratch building another Titan, this time a Chaos Nurgle Titan but I have a problem.  I need to add scratch built guns and a scratch built head but I not sure how to move forward. The main body is done and I'm working on the upper carapace, but I need your thoughts on using a creeping mutated  head thing for the head of the Titan.  your thoughts?  Pictures below:

Warhammer 40K Costuming in my future.

So I have been contemplating this for some time now, a full Inquisitor outfit to wear at gaming conventions.
I’ve been looking at Cos-play forums and reading through articles on how to create such things and I have come to a decision to utilize my S.C.A. leather crafting skills and armor skills to start my Power armored suit. I’m looking at Inquisitor Drogan from the game Space Marine as a guide.
I’ve also found this amazing blogger site by Renquist Von Reik. He makes some fantastic props for Cos-Play including a Bolt Pistol and a Inquisitor's Rosette. Check out his site here:
Here are a few shots of his work!

I will drawing some plans in the next few weeks and hope to have a working model before Dexcon this Summer.

Read any good books lately?

When my dad decided to call it a day.

After a day of crippling defeats, my dad was determined to win against me in Necromunda. His mission was simple, to kill my leader in a hit and run. our setup took about 15 minutes.

Turn 1 was the usual basic movements without any action. I went first, he went second.

on the first half of Turn 2 I rolled for reinforcements as a majority of my force were off the board, and I chose my two juves to come onto the board. They came on the board right behind my fathers raiding party. My dad looked a little annoyed, but figured they would just slow him down since they couldn't hit the larger side of a barn . Unfortunately for him, the FNG (E'ffing New Guy) opened up his flamer, taking down half his force, which caused my father to bottle out! Needless to say, my dad thought it might be wise to play Borderlands for the rest of the day...

Odysseus, you have nothing on my father's suffering.

Necromunda and 40K second edition

Hey Chaos Cultist!

For the last few weekends my Son, Jarrett and I have been going retro and playing Necromunda.  For all of you that don't know what that is, in Necromunda, players control rival gangs battling each other in the Underhive, a place of anarchy and violence in the depths below the Hive City. As in its parent game Warhammer 40,000, play uses 28 mm miniatures (approximately 1:65) and terrain (in this case a heavily polluted cityscape).

This weekend we are using the Doom the board game templates for tunnels.

Being a skirmish game, gangs are usually limited to around nine models, but as a result game play can become more detailed. Unlike Warhammer 40,000, Necromunda also allows players to develop their gangs between battles, gaining experience, adding new members or equipment, according to a set of rules. Gangs which frequently win games acquire more credits (money) and fewer injuries and so are able to grow throughout a campaign.
Some of my Gang, Jakaal, Joan Midnight, Leather Neck, and Cultist Phil.

We also decided to kind of mix it up with our campaign by using 2ND Warhammer 40k, by the way of War-gear Cards and psychic powers.  Because about 90% of my collection is packed we are using whatever figures we have available to us, including my Blood Pact figures and War-zone miniatures. Here are some shots:
