The Black Widow was originally a Russian super-spy who eventually defects to the United States. She was trained as a spy, martial artist, and sniper, and outfitted with an arsenal of high-tech weaponry, including a pair of wrist-mounted energy weapons dubbed her "Widow's Bite".
Ivan Vanko is a Russian ex-con who managed to build his own twisted version of the Iron Man suit. His nickname comes from a pair of deadly whips which are powered by the suit's glowing chest piece.

Here are some destroyed cars for the board and some Zombies, the cars were cast in plaster from a wicked retro future car I have, the scenery around the cars are huge spores, the wasteland is going to have some weird vegetation!
I will post more stuff soon, including some new buildings I'm working on... -Cheers!
Portman will be teaming up with Donnie Darko director Richard Kelly to produce, according to Variety. As was mentioned on SCI FI Wire a few weeks ago, earlier rumors about a six-part miniseries adaptation of Pride and Prejudice and Zombies proved to be untrue. But as is the case with any hot property, news and rumors of adaptations just won't stay dead.
In an obvious bit of casting, the elegant and waifish Portman will of course be playing the iconic heroine Elizabeth Bennet.
But who could play the dashing, charming and perhaps arrogant Mr. Darcy? Our vote is for the great Howard Sherman, who played the lovable and multilayered Bub the Zombie in George Romero's Day of the Dead. Who do you think should get the meaty role?

As you all know, I love Warhammer 40k and Fallout, I'm always looking for mods that turns my Fallout experience into a Warhammer 40K experience. Multiple mods have been created to bring power armor, space marines, weapons, and even aliens to the wasteland. My favorite mod so far is the Enclave Commander _Warhammer 40k Edition. I've written about this mod in the past, but now a new release is going to bring a huge update to the troops and equipment you can have for your wasteland adventures. here are some shots of some new troops you can summon...

Outpost II: Black Sun is being billed as a "bigger and bloodier sequel" to Barker's original zombie flick. I own the first one and love it, I hope this one improves on the idea...
The year is 1945, the closing stages of WW2, and a German scientist by the name of Klausener is working on a frightening new technology the power to create an immortal Nazi army.
Flash forward to present day, and a NATO task force is hurriedly deployed to Eastern Europe, where a sinister enemy appears to be mercilessly killing everything in its path. But this is no ordinary foe.
Only Helena, a gutsy investigator on the trail of notorious war-criminal Klausener, accepts the reality of what they are facing a battalion of Nazi Storm-Troopers, a veritable zombie army on the march.
With the help of Wallace, a man who's been chasing Nazi secrets for years, the two of them team up with a Special Forces Unit to venture deep behind enemy lines. Their mission to fight their way back to the source of this evil army and prevent the seemingly inevitable rise of the 4th Reich.

Games Workshop declares war on best customers. Again.
Dan sez, "Game publisher and miniature manufacturer Games Workshop just sent a cease and desist letter to boardgamegeek.com, telling them to remove all fan-made players' aids. This includes scenarios, rules summaries, inventory manifests, scans to help replace worn pieces -- many of these created for long out of print, well-loved games. GW did this shortly after building a lot of good will by re-releasing their out of print game 'Space Hulk' to much hoopla. And it's not their first attack on their biggest fans"
No doubt those of you who have supported Games Workshop in the past by creating files for use with their games will have noticed they are all being deleted from BGG at the behest of their lawyers.
So here's a little paeon to the games that I spent many hours creating rules summaries and reference sheets for that are no longer available here. They're still at my personal site, but I don't imagine they'll be there for long.
No doubt they'll be more items on this list before long. The Games Workshop Files Purge of '09

The Green Slime!
The story: A group of astronauts set out to stop a giant asteroid on a collision course with the planet Earth. They land on the asteroid, plant explosive charges and destroy it. Afterwards they return to the staging area, a space station called Gamma 3 in orbit around the Earth.
Unfortunately, a scientist from the mission has unwittingly carried a luminous-green substance on the leg of his spacesuit which quickly mutates into one-eyed, tentacled monsters with the ability to discharge lethal bolts of electricity.
The Gamma 3 crew fends off the alien creatures with their laser-based weaponry, only to discover the creatures feed off the energy which, in turn, allows them to multiply rapidly, sprouting the new creatures from their blood. As the creatures overrun the station the crew continues to fight back against overwhelming odds.
This was a Japanese American joint venture, it had everything a young boy needs, action, adventure, lasers, Spacemen, monsters, and green slime! What else do you need really? I want to thank the creators of this romp for making me the happy geek I am today.
