Thoughts about 2009 projects…

My son pretty much dictates what I do lately with all of my gaming. Warhammer 40k and D&D we have covered, Zombie apocalypse and weird World War 2 is now pretty much covered. But I’m not sure what direction I want to go with now with my figure/gaming collecting. I do want to create those Hydra and S.H.I.E.L.D. armies, also AIM, but I getting a little bored and want a new direction. If you’re reading this, please provide me with some cool ideas to think about for next year…

Victorian Horror?

Victorian Heros hunting monsters like Dracula, Hyde, the invisible man, werewolves, etc. Think League of Extraordinary Gentlemen - like the comic book, not the movie... or maybe Van Helsing...

I use Rippers, either the Horror Wars for straight skirmishing, or the RPG if you're into that sort of thing.

If you tire of it after a while or need a break or something fresh, some of the stuff could then be used for Space:1889 or some other form of Victorian Science fiction, or maybe even straight up historical colonials...?

Such a colourful period full of wonder and possibilities...

I do love The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, even though it crashed and burned at the box office. Great idea, with my Dr.Who collection and some of my Great Rail Wars figs I'm half way there, Thanks Tim!
