Swimming is hell…

Well this weekend I had to take my son to the swimming championships. It was the longest swim meet I’ve ever been to, eight hours. He did pretty well, and we hung out all day Sunday at the local gaming store. We played some weird World War 2 games, showing some of the 40K kids some new cool ways to throw some dice. The battle was a rework of the Rumble in the jungle from the last time we played. We didn’t have a camera, and we played with a nice guy by the name of Shawn, he’s a Warhammer 40K player with a Tau force. The game went very well, we had Zombies, Axis battle suits, and Captain America and Lobster Johnson helping two Allied rifle teams, plus heavy support. It was a slugfest, Lobster Johnson dying in close combat with a Battle suit, the debut of the Sherman Tank with Support Rocket launchers went very well. I’m going to be painting my new void troopers in these next two weeks and some Terminators when I have the chance. I’ll post pics soon…
Here’s some cool 40K posters I found online…
